Update: November 29

OE Choir Students & Parents,

The next three weeks are PACKED with lots of activities--concerts, family events, parties, homework, prep for finals and MORE.  I encourage each singer and parent to pay extra attention to announcements made during rehearsals, blog updates and emails.  Being well informed will allow you to truly enjoy this busy, but fun, time of year!

Peace.

Update: November 14, 2013

OE Choir Students and Parents:
Musical auditions, District/State Auditions, 100 Years of Broadway, Prep for our Holiday concerts (oh yeah...and all that homework)...needless to say this is a busy time for choirs at Olathe East.  During these busy times we all have to work to stay organized and focused.  Keep track of your responsibilities   Put the most urgent and most difficult things at the top of your to-do list.  Once you get those things out of the way you'll feel much better!

Peace.

"100 YEARS OF B'WAY" OPENS TOMORROW!
The Musical Theatre Rep class will be presenting a revue "100 Years of Broadway" tomorrow 11/15 and Friday 11/16 at 7:30p in the Drama Theater.  The show features tons of great Broadway favorites and, this year, a live band!  To reserve your tickets visit: www.oetheatre.com

MEN--BRING BACK YOUR PANTS!
If you purchased new tux pants this year the hem needs to be complete.  Our seamstress only tacked them for our fall concert.  Please bring your pants back (clearly marked with your name) so the hem can be completed.

OTHER CONCERT ATTIRE NEEDS/CHANGES
If you need any additional items or need changes made to your concert attire please see Cates ASAP so we can address the issues in time for our next performance.

NEW YORK CITY TRIP
Info related to next year's trip to New York City was passed out in class this week.  All students currently in choir at OE are invited (but not required) to go on the trip.  Those wishing to attend the trip must complete an online Trip Commitment Form by November 30.

PATRON DRIVE
The Choir Patron Drive will end on Friday, November 30.  Additional Patron Forms are available on the home page of www.oechoirs.org or CLICK HERE.  Funds over $100 will be applied to individual student choir accounts (which can be used to pay for trip or other choir expenses).  Due to a change in the way we run finances the current individual choir account balance on Charms will only reflect monies deposited or earned last year.  We hope to include Patron contributions after the drive is complete.
